My story is waiting to be heard.

As a photographer and filmmaker, I am honoured to preserve the identity, memories, and selfhood of extraordinary communities through my lens. My projects are rooted in archival family albums. But the most rewarding part is the time spent fostering new relationships and friendships on location. It's a privilege to document people's stories and capture the essence of a community. The connections made feel like family.

Documentary Film Making
My films are the culmination of integrating myself into the communities that I identify. The process is based on curiosity for the world around me, seeing the challenges that others avoid looking at. I want to tell their stories, using their voices. I am a narrator who immerses himself into their environment for as long as it takes to understand their worries today but often rooted in the past.
An overview of my documentaries can be found under Films
Documentary Photography
In an age where documentary photography faces competition from other media and citizen reporting, my work spotlights overlooked local and community stories. I capture intimate perspectives on identity, memory, and self-perception that often go unheard. Through a collaborative process rooted in personal archives, I empower people to share their narratives on their own terms. My images provide a nuanced look at communities from within.

Documentary Writing & Podcasting
Talking about one's work is always fraught with challenges. Do others care about the work? Why do they want to hear about it? One way to articulate structured thoughts (sometimes!) is through writing. More often it is through discussions. Podcasting enables the latter. I am working on a roadmap for how to bring some of the experiences and behind-the-scenes challenges to you. EU Stories will be a medium that I will explore as a platform to bring ideas and project concepts to you.
